David
P. Wasserman has been representing landlords since he was admitted to the
State Bar of California in 1994. He has also been a licensed real estate
broker since 1996. Mr. Wasserman graduated from Santa Clara University (B.S.
Degree) and received his law degree and Masters in Tax from Golden Gate
University, with high honors. Mr. Wasserman opened his law practice in 1995.
In law school, he externed for the Hon. Eugene F. Lynch (Ret.) at the local
federal court. In 1999, Mr. Wasserman was elected to the Board of Directors for the San
Francisco Apartment Association, where he served as vice-president until 2006.
He is the 2007 president of the SFAA Board of Directors. Mr. Wasserman is also
a member of the Coalition for Better Housing, a former member of the S.F.
Department of Building Inspections Code Advisory Committee and the co-author
of the SFAA 2008 Residential Tenancy Agreement. In 2003, Mr. Wasserman was appointed to the California Apartment
Association's Board of Directors and he has served on the Government Affairs
Committee. Wasserman-Stern is also an associate member of the SF
Professional Property Managers Association. Mr. Wasserman regularly lectures and teaches
in the area of landlord-tenant law for numerous continuing legal education
providers and the San Francisco Apartment Association members. He also writes
a monthly column for the San Francisco Apartment Association Magazine and is a
lecturer for Lormans and The National Business Institute. He
also is a regular panel member for the Bar Association of San Francisco's
landlord-tenant symposium.
Mr. Wasserman is a landlord and property manager. He is married with
three children. |
