 Daniel R.
Stern is a graduate of University of California at Davis with a B.S. degree
in history and political science, received his law degree from Golden Gate
University in 1991 and has been practicing law for fourteen years. While
attending Golden Gate School of Law and after passing the State Bar of
California Mr. Stern worked at the United States department of Labor,
Officer of the Solicitor General where he prosecuted violations of the Fair
Labor Standards Act and represented the United States Department of Labor in
numerous FLSA arbitrations. Mr. Stern joined Wasserman Stern Law Offices in
2001 where his area of focus is landlord-tenant law, real estate
transactions/litigation, TIC and Condo conversion.
In addition to successfully representing Owners in numerous San Francisco
Superior Court litigations, Mr. Stern specializes in landlord representation
before the San Francisco Rent Board. Mr. Stern has filed and litigated the
most 1.21 petitions before the San Francisco Rent board in 2005, prevailing on
99% of those petitions . Mr. Stern also specializes in negotiating tenant
buyouts in preparation for sale of properties as Tenancies in Common.
Mr. Stern regularly speaks at the San Francisco Apartment Association
membership meetings and participates in the legal Q&A sessions. Mr. Stern is a
regularly attendee of the Professional Property Managers Associations meetings
and represent many members of the that organization. Mr. Stern also represent
many of San Francisco’s largest residential property management companies. |
